WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY? For West Allis-West Milwaukee students entering 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the 2023-24 school year on a path to go to West Allis Central High School. Learn More
WHEN DOES THE SEASON START? Equipment pick up in July. Practice starts August 1.
HOW OFTEN ARE PRACTICES? No more than 3 nights a week when school starts. Each Head Coach will determine exact practice days/times.
WHERE ARE PRACTICES? 5th/6th grade practice at Honey Creek Park. 7th/8th grade practice at West Milwaukee Intermediate School.
WHEN ARE GAMES? Every Saturday starting September 7, through the end of October.
WHAT LEAGUE DO WE PLAY IN? Wisconsin's largest Youth Football league, the AAYFL. To learn more visit - aayfl.org
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO WE NEED? Comfortable gym clothes and cleats. All other equipment is provided.
WHERE ARE HOME GAMES PLAYED? The West Allis Athletic Complex.
HOW MUCH? $150. Payment options available. We will work with you to ensure all West Allis/West Milwaukee students who want to play, have an opportunity to play.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY? Students in 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade on the pathway to West Allis Central High School (see the WAWM School District Website for the map)
WHEN ARE TRYOUTS? Tryouts are held in September. Dates are posted below.
WHO COACHES THE TEAMS? Our teams are coached by volunteers who are committed to preparing players for High School Basketball. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please contact Debbie at gastdebbie@gmail.com
HOW OFTEN ARE PRACTICES? Each team practices 2 times per week at a WAWM school location. Dates & Times are determined by the Coach. Practices begin about a week after tryouts.
WHEN ARE GAMES? WAC Jr. Bulldogs Boys Basketball participates in the WYBL (Wisconsin Youth Basketball League). They will schedule 16 games on Sundays between November 1st and March 15th for each team. WYBL holds a Championship in March. Additionally, each Coach will decide if the team will participate in tournaments. Tournaments typically take place on Saturdays.
WHERE ARE GAMES PLAYED? WYBL schedules games at participating schools, so locations will vary.
HOW MUCH? $275 - Our program is able to keep player fees low because we have a Fundraising Commitment or Volunteer Commitment that each family will complete. Uniform is included for first-year players (replacement uniform costs are covered by participants)
WHAT IS THE FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT?
In the past, each family was expected to work hours in the Concession Stand at West Allis Central while the WYBL hosted games at our facility on Sundays.
We do not currently have a Girls Basketball Program

Tryouts are held @ the WAC Fieldhouse (86th & Lincoln)
Players must attend both Tryout Dates
4th – 9/20 6:30-7:15 & 9/26 6:30pm
5th – 9/20 6:30-7:15 & 9/26 6:30pm
6th – 9/20 6:30-7:15 & 9/26 7:00pm
7th – 9/20 7:15-8:30 & 9/26 7:30pm
8th – 9/20 7:15-8:30 & 9/20 8:00pm
**returning players must bring uniform**
**parents must attend on 9/26**
